Lmao.. I’m goodCome on over to my place. I'll drill holes on your trailer frame. Drilled plenty of holes in fenders of other peoples' trucks for snorkels. I'd love to take a stab at effin' up your stuff

That Anderson will work, but there are other choices that you don't have to drill holes in the frame, some are more and some are less, before I got my ProPride I had the BlueOx and it is a great WDH but a bit more money. How big is the trailer, weight and length as well as tongue weight and what is your TV?
What makes you think you need one?Trailer is 24’x 8.5x 7.. 3400lbs @ 340 tw.. towing with an f150 3.5 eb with max tow package.
What makes you think you need one?
when you have a strong side wind or a lot of truck traffic the WDH is a plus and they help keep the steer axle the same weight as unloaded weight. What makes you think you need one?
I’m not doing it for the WD I'm doing it for the sway. I know it will get better when loaded. But I won’t always be loaded. And as light and large as the trailer is I think it will be helpful for that. What makes you think you need one?
Have you looked that up?½ Ton...Hitch isn't rated for 1000lb TW without WD Hitch.
Have you looked that up?
Who would spend their own money on a 1500 when you have a 24' enclosed anyway? Cart before the horse !RV & Trailer Towing Guides | fleet.ford.com

Read your hitch, its only rated for 5000lb trailer/ 500lb TW without WD Hitch.
Pg 37-38 go into more specifics.
Thats almost standard across the ½ Ton trucks (@Plumber32 I think the ½ ton ram can only tow a 500lb trailer without brakes and a WD hitch..)
So true!Who would spend their own money on a 1500 when you have a 24' enclosed anyway? Cart before the horse !
Where @JTW travels, its down hill both ways! HA!Who would spend their own money on a 1500 when you have a 24' enclosed anyway? Cart before the horse !

And in the snow!Where @JTW travels, its down hill both ways! HA!
If he had bought a gooseneck all of this would be irrelevant. The air bags, the topper, the equalizer hitch, the fold out beds.

Pgs 37-38 hitch is rated for 5000/500 without WD hitch, but goes to 13500/1350 with WD. Bumper is limited to 5000/500The hitch is rated for much more. The bumper is what is limited to 5000 pounds.
I bet we paid less for our Ram than he paid for the Ford, obviously money is no object considering all of the add ons required. Our Ram came with a tow hitch, bumper is never used.An extra 12-15k upfront for a truck, then extra maintenance cost, diesel fuel cost, add an extra 10-15k for a gooseneck vs bumper pull.
If you’re going to use it EVERY weekend sure but if you only use it 10 times a year fully loaded WHY spend so much extra.
We have a gooseneck horsetrailer and pull it with a HEMI powered ram. The truck is all Stock except for running boards. No programmer, equalizer hitch, air bags,or topper/camper/bed cover.Maybe that eb is not all that without adding on a bunch of stuff.
