At 3,200 miles my buddy had the front U-joint fail. One bearing cap was gone. His Dif seal has been leaking from new too. That's 3 U-joints now with the two that failed on my Talon. Both of my U-joint failures were the rear U-joint on the front drive shaft. The yokes look ok. I think there is a few poor quality drive shafts with a loose bearing cap fit. I will be checking both U-joints frequently especially before a big remote ride. Removing the hood makes it easy to see the front U-joint. We carefully checked the C clips so if I have another failure I will have the bearing caps spot welded before the drive shaft is installed. I'm posting all the pictures from the three failures. The video and Pic 1 & 2 is the one that failed at 15,000 miles. Pic 3 & 5 is the one that failed at 1,800 miles and pic 8 is the front U-joint with one bearing cap missing. The video shows the loose bearing cap and the C clip worn into the yoke.
