P1000 Alumilite armour or SXS windshield?

Ok so I am stuck between the alumilite armour windshield and the sxs windshield. I haven't seen many reviews on the alumilite. The alumilite definitely seems to have more features. Opens like SATV and can be open all the way. Removes easy with 2 bolts removed and frame stays in place. The sxs has venting and is significantly cheaper. I want glass and venting because I want to run a wiper, but I just can't make the final decision. Anyone own either of these that could give me some honest feedback. Just afraid the venting on the sxs is not enough. I ride slow trails so no fast movement for the airflow and use it for doing food plots and stuff around the cabin, gathering firewood etc, more work than play for the most part. Want it to keep the rain off me and the snow when I'm plowing, eventuall will add soft doors and the back panel. Any input from guys who own these would be appreciated!

I appreciate that. Did you get their roof as well or just the windshield? I have the Honda oem roof and when I talked to them the other day they are saying they are making a piece that will fill the gap between the Honda roof and their windshield better. Really looking forward to feedback on this windshield as you know it's one of the pricier ones out there. That being said if it works well I'm all in. I really wish ryfab would make one for the Honda. I like the looks and operation of theirs. We have slim picking when it comes to glass and venting options. Thanks again!

I just got the windshield and built my own roof out of HDPE but I think @Kilo427 has the alumilite roof for sale.

Anxious to hear what you have to say about it. I have the honda roof, do you have a honda roof as well? One thing I am curious about on the windshield is how much does it wrap back on the sides of the roll cage. Would it hinder upper doors from mounting on the cage or even side view mirrors? Pics make it seem like it wraps back a lot further than many other windshields. Please let me know your thoughts when you get it installed.

Thanks, I have the Honda roof so would be curious if anyone is running the alumilite windshield with the honda roof. But feedback on the windshield alone would be great.

I'm really impressed with the quality, this thing is extremely well made. I anticipate leaving it on year round and removing the window if need be. It also helps hide wires running up the cage to lights, radio, etc. I have to change the visor I had on the roof and reinstall. I didn't get to it today but will shortly.

@EricG, There are people using wipers with plastic windscreens..

I have the Honda two piece hard coat. I use a wiper. I keep a spray bottle of water to wet windshield b4 I turn it on to wash off mud and dust if it's not real wet. Been working good no scratches.
