i called them they said you need to change the pcm , wire harness and all the hardware for the steering shaft roughly 2500 dollars

Sounds like Chevy to add trailer brake controller....$5700....for a $230 option. Mainly because there's a ton of parts that are different.

Doesn't look like anyone has put effort into building a kit...probably because only the base 1000 doesn't come with it?
