87 octane SUX

I asked if 87 octane was good to run in Pioneer; Y'all said it was a dumass thing to ask and put it up my ass and poked fun with all of your intelligent knowledge; well guess what? all who made fun are stupid as a rock; I have carbon up issues; I asked and you fkd me; I regret even asking a technical question to a bunch of dumasses; I am getting it tuned to run 87 without carbon issues

That’s funny, never had issues and we ride over a mile high all the time.

10,000 miles going strong at around 6000 ft elevation

If you have altitude you do not need high octane. I live in Colorado and have never been over 86.

Just for the heck of it, I checked the Owners Manual.

Now the use of ethanol ( oxygenated) fuels is similar. Not over 10% and 86 or higher.

But you know how far off those Engineers are !

I also tuned my pioneer to run on 87. It involved turning the ignition switch from off to start, then to run and not acting like a little b****.

As long as it runs.. Beggars can't be choosers.... I think that's how it goes.. I don't know about octane where do you buy that? Mine runs off some regular stuff from the gas station 🤷‍♂️
