Mine seemed to be heat related. I had originally added the insulation and added aluminum skid plates creating a very hot engine. Once I took the insulation off. I haven't had the issue again outside of that last post.

Any updates on repairing this issue, my bike has the same issue. Please HELP!!
The most common repair seems to be to add extra grounds. There is some details in this thread and other linked threads for more information.

So it seems to be when the 700 is warmed up/hot. The temp gauge stays at 2 bars but after driving a while or working, it is shutting off on me. It will start right back up, but it will shut off again shortly after. Seems to go further in between shut offs at WOT. I tried babying it and was only getting 20-30 yards. I shut it off for 30-45 mins and it drove fine for a while before having the issues again. Seems to not have the issue when it's cooler. It will not shut off at idle.
