700 power steering

Has anyone installed power steering without removing the dash. It’s the first thing my instructions from super atv says to do. Haven’t seen that referenced in the discussions on here. Not a problem to do it, just wondered if it was necessary. I’ve seen mention of pulling the front fender off

I'd follow the distructions! Prob save u from learning a new language
