I went with a 77"x 12', I wanted the width in case I wanted to move the pioneer with the 72" plow on it.
I have an 18 foot with top rail, if I want to haul more than my s x s I pull it up within a foot of the front top rail, go clip onto my d ring under top rail and then over the top to my s x s. I have room for lawn mower, log spliter ect.I run a 6 x 12 tilt trailer with a stock '17 700-4. I know it sounds like I'd have lots of room, but the welded d-rings for tie down on the trailer take up quite a bit. It fits well, but when I purchased it i really thought I'd way more room side to side for some reason. To anyone out there buying a trailer keep tie down room in mind.
