I’m having issues with the 4wd on my talon, indicator light comes on but does not engage, i4wd light isn’t flashing, thinking blown diff, somebody mentioned clutches. Have any idea?

Highly doubt a blown diff, it'd make some hellacious noise if you managed to do that. There's a clutch on the output shaft that goes into the front diff.
How many miles on the machine? What size tires?

Ive seen one failed 4wd clutch, its possible thats your issue.
You can apply 12 volts to the clutch and it'll be audible if its engaged. Then the front wheels should lock to the rears.

Please clarify. There is no indicator "light", just an LCD indicator showing 2 or 4 WD mode.
The i4WD amber light is a warning light and if that is on, you have problems. Which one is "on"?...
