Significant price increase. I kind of expected that but it sucks. Been waiting on a 1000-3 for a year now. The small upgrades help take a little sting out of the price bump, but not that much.

You know Honda is leading the market when "IMPROVED CUP HOLDER" is listed as a key feature.

Honda was straight to the point with this announcement leaving out many details we want to know about.
Here is what we know so far!

• Updated SINGLE piece frame, like the Talon. Possible dip treated.
• New bumper
• New Front Hood
• Frame strengthened to prevent front a-arm tab tearing.
• New accessory power port like the Talon has.
• Redesigned front a-arms. Replacing the upper single bolt with double bolt.
• New 3 piece tie rods, like the Talon has. Non curved tie rod ends.
• Updated clutch pack
• Updated Crank
• Updated Head
• Updated Sub Trans Gears.
• New shift star and shaft to prevent low and R grinding.
• Rear view mirror mount on some models.
• New Radiator part #, Unsure if it is improved.
• Upgraded SPIRAL fan with new shroud
• And........ BOLD NEW GRAPHICS!

12" steel wheels are no longer standard on base models.
14" steel wheels are the new standard on base models.
New KYB shock package on Forest model.

Looks like these should be on the floor at dealers next month. It will be interesting to walk around one and check it out.

We traded a LED lights for a cup holder that will hold a actual cup.

Looks like a different air filter number as well.

I like the Trail version fit with fox shocks. For people that trail ride but don't want a talon this will be a good move. More competitive with the General, Commander and Defender but lacking many of their niceties.

The 4 and 5 seater roll cages are still atrocious!
