P1000 2018 Pioneer 1000 in Dealership

We received a few 2018 models just the other day. I think a Red 3 EPS, Green 5 ND, Red 5 ND, and Camo 3 EPS. Alao have a couple 700 Black Deluxe 2, Orange Deluxe 4, and a Red ND 4. Call Heritage Honda (606)-759-5000 for details. Have several '17 and a couple '16 on special as well.

I'm going to be nice here, bought a 16 August of 16, clutch failure under 100 hrs, heat issues, water in the gas tank, water in the intake? I didn't buy the extended warranty because I figure i can fix it my self or have the dealership fix it for under $ 1,100.00, thats what the extended warranty costs. And I will sell it or trade it in on probably a Yamaha. There you go Honda! Honda needs to do the same thing Polaris did, send vouchers out for owners of plagued S x S owners who own defective units to use on trade in on new unit. People with defective units from Polaris can buy a Turbo 1000 for $ 17'000 with vouchers! No way in Hades would I consider buying another Honda until I know they have there poop together ( Honda ) and that's being nice, if you would like the real life version, PM me! But I love my P1-5, just wonder whats going to go wrong next?????

I’m curious how long it will be before big H updates the body work, I like to hang onto my equipment until they change something aesthetically with them to distinguish it from the one I’m trading in. I’m betting it will be a few years.

Smitty I don't recall exactly how much my extended warranty was but it was no where near $1100. Sorry about your problems.

Bought my 18 last week. All of the issues listed above have been fixed on the 18 models.

I think Honda has one last hiccup to install free, the improved clutch cover and mine should have all the improvement the 17's & 18's have

I thought you where the one who has been preaching about chamfering the oil relief ports?
Isn't this supposed to improve clutch longevity.
Is this mod doing something else?
