Anyone comment who has a 2015 Honda pioneer if the front shocks are better than the 2014? I know they made an upgrade in 2015, I have an opportunity to buy 2014 and wondered if there was any major differences worth noting?
I bought the basic ones not the piggyback. They work perfectly no more harsh bottoming out. Here is another thread with INFO about the 2015 shocks. http://hondasxs.com/threads/2014-honda-shocks-vs-2015-honda-dual-rate-shocks.2399/#post-16192 I hope that helps! I think i am with @SkyPup on the Walker Evans. I am not sure what model plumber32 has.
Yep that's what skypup has too I think! please Santa!I bought the basic ones not the piggyback. They work perfectly no more harsh bottoming out.
My 2015 bottoms often with 3 people in it. Front and rear. Rear is all the way up. I think we run it too hard.
I have a Pioneer 1000-5 and if I jump with 2 adults in the front it will bottom out at times, definitely needs better shocks. Otherwise I really like the machine a lot. I was following friends riding RZR 1000's so we were riding pretty hard to keep up. That and maybe a little more ground clearance would be nice. Future upgrades; lift kit, bigger tires and Fox shocks. Otherwise the Pioneer 1000-5 is the most versatile machine out there, IMHO. Big fun in a small package that can fit the whole family, tough to beat.Today we were jumping waterbars. I really need something with more travel apparently. I can't talk the wife into a P1k5 though.
