P500 2 yrs not started, outdoors, uncovered, help!

yes, a new battery and fluids are a great start.

Hope the critters didn’t munch on its wires. Maybe inspect calipers for free movement and rotors for rust. Good thing is the tires have Covid free air in them.

Welcome to the site. Aside from the above drain the fuel & refill with fresh. I would suggest prior to starting it to pull the spark plug wire and crank it a few times, 5-10 seconds at a time, before firing it up. This will get oil flowing prior to a full start up.

I'd start with trying to figure out why it sat on a trailer for 2 years and fix that.

It will be a pain, but I would remove all the fuel including that what is in the lines and remove/clean the tank!! While you are doing all that work, I would remove the spark plug and fog the cylinder with this or something similar to help with any moisture or stuck issues.

First thing and always first thing pull air box lid mice always eat air filter first. ck oil level and crank her up its a honda I find old atvs sitting for years all the time picked this one up for $500 couple weeks ago
