P1000 16 Pioneer 1000 code 81

2016 pioneer 1000-3 is stuck in limp mode and giving error code 81 (Sub-transmission position switch malfunction). Does anyone know where this position switch is located? or have a how to on how to change it

Should be able to reach it from up top by removing seat.

2 bolts and an o-ring.

Did you follow the diagnostic tree in the service manual?

I would look at the wiring harness for breaks, pinches etc before condemning the sensor.
