X vs R Dragrace

We chose the X because we trail ride more then anything but curious why people chose the X or R. Looking for data for my next video.

X should be faster being that its lighter and the engine/ tranny are the same

I think the x is about 50 lbs lighter.

It the trans gearing & final drive(diffs) the same ratios? I haven't looked into it, just curious.
