P1000 Windshield

I'm always on the quest to reduce dust and make the Pioneer just a bit better. I love the windshield but hate the dust...A flip up is the answer and are available but...spending the cash on another windshield and have one sit in the garage just didn't sit well with me. Windshields would turn out like holsters...a drawer full, if you know what I mean.

So I took my perfectly good, but ignorantly designed HONDA two piece and chopped it in half, hinged it and added gas struts...and voila, I think I have finally got what I want...a wind screen that will suite my needs rain or shine. The bottom will also tip out, making the entire front open or completely closed. Here's some pic's...
