P500 Windshield Gaskets

The side gaskets on my Honda hardcoat windshield become detached while trailering (about 60 mph). Has anyone addressed this issue? I'm thinking about using some silicone adhesive.

I used loctite 401 superglue. All fixed.

That will likely do the trick, or 3M automotive trim adhesive seems to stay tacky and flexible.

It's the rubber trim around the edges of the windshield.

I'm glad you mentioned them being lost on the trail. If the windshield is tilted out I can see how they can work loose and fall off. Another little project this winter so that won't happen later on. Better go get some sticky stuff.

Someone posted a few months ago about a company you could order replacement rolls from. It wasn't too expensive, but the shipping to AK was outrageous. Almost twice what the product cost. I can't remember the name of the company, but I think I have the box still in my storage room. I can look tomorrow and pass it along.

I bought my replacement here Side bulb Push-On Seal after I lost one of mine.

This has a much tighter fit than the oem seals !
