P1000 Windshield adjustment ??

This is the windshield I have . Anyone got ideas to make it more adjustable ? Say half way open option ?

Should a guy mess with the adjustment bar or the shock locations ? I'd like to be able to go from 3" open, half open and wide open while on the move.
