Looking to install a winch and need advise on brand/power/mount or any other accessories needed.

There are probably 500 posts on here about this same thing. That being said, I used the KFI mount and a Badlands 5k because I'm cheap. I've never had any issue with the Badlands winches.

Honda mount, its easy to respool the cable if it comes off or needs to be replaced, and pulls directly off the bottom of the winch instead of a 45degree angle like the KFI. EMP mount pulls directly off the bottom of the winch but is a PITA to remove if you have to respool.

The winch brand argument is about like truck brand, you'll never have a concise victor. Warn seems to be better on customer service than a lot of the others, I know people have had good luck from Viper and KFI, and their customer service, but those people also don't think their SxS is a submarine.

Ohana summed it up pretty well. I will add that I'll never install another winch without a wireless remote. I'm on the 4th machine with wireless and it is awesome!
