IMO, the Strongmade* front bumper is awesome. It gives the awkward looking front of the P5 a proper and beefy look, it is in fact beefy at about 3/16” thick, mounts quick and easy, and as a bonus provides a beautifully predrilled flat mounting surface, for the winch, up higher than where they’re normally mounted, out of the water on those creek crossings.Any big pros or cons either way? Just picked up a 500 and trying to make up my mind which way to go. Any help is appreciated.
Maybe @chrisC could share some welder build info on front and rear build. Try a Private Message?? Glad to have you here. Heres his post on same, good pics. The strongmade is what I was looking at, should build one, only have 5 welders. Will probably make one for the rear, trying to figure out how to mount it. Just picked it up, all I have on it is a roof and a moose basket/bed. Got a wiring adaptor coming from amazon. Have a cheap hf winch I have never mounted on anything in the garage I will put on it for now. After that windshield and light bar is all I really want (for now).
Thanks, will do.Maybe @chrisC could share some welder build info on front and rear build. Try a Private Message?? Glad to have you here. Heres his post on same, good pics. P500 - Post your front bumper/winch mount pics.
