How much wider (outside rim to outside rim) will the front width be vs stock width if I install 7" wide 4+3 offset wheels? This offset stuff makes my head spin and I have an opportunity for a great deal on some wheels. Ideally I'd like to be at 65" legal width (minnesota) but would go up to 66" and risk the ticket. Anybody know what I'm looking at?

I put 5+2 on mine, all four corners, and had to wiggle the heck out of front to get it to drop into my old trailer. The side rails were exactly 65” wide. So, I bought a new trailer. 6+1 or 5-1/2 + 1-1/2 would have been under 65” but I’m not sure if either of them would rub with 28” tires. If you use the same wheels front and rear, you can rotate tires but to make the front and rear track the same, use 1” wheel spacers on the rear.

I'm wondering how much wider the 4+3 will make the front. I can use spacers on the rear to even it out but am concerned with the extra width in front.
Factory fronts measured from the flange to the outside of the tire is about 2 1/2 inches. I have the sti hd9 in the 4+3
, tires are labeled as 31x10.50. This setup measures 5 1/2 so 3in more per side, 6in total. Not what i would want on the front. Fwiw, the sti 6+1 with the same tire measures 3 1/4, so 3/4 per side for 1 1/2 total wider. Hope this helps or at least makes sense

4+3 will give you more bump steer and be harder on the ball joints. You will still need an 1 1/2 spacer on the rear to get an even track width if you go with the same wheels on all 4 corners. But they will definitely look cooler.
