Looking to purchase an enclosed trailer for my X. Wouldn't mind going with an 8 1/2 wide one, would like to stay around 16/18 feet. Problem I'm finding is a true 7' opening. I plan on going up to at least 30" tires in the near future and maybe some suspension further down the road.
Is anyone running an enclosed trailer with 30" tires on there rig? If so can I get some recommendations on brands/ prices? Is this going to have to be some sort of custom trailer build?
I will be pulling it with a Tundra so nothing to massive
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I have a US CARGO trailer. 8.5 wide 16 foot long. It is the perfect size, pulls and nice and straight. It leaves plenty of room to get in and out of the machine. Pretty sure I could put 30s on the X and have plenty of room. I pull it with a 1/2 ton Silverado and get about 12 miles to the gallon. The 6.5 by 12 foot open trailer I had only got about 14 MPG pulling it. Made by Forest River Inc. model ULAFTX8516TA2

I did a 8.5 x 20’ Kaufman trailer for my R. Love the room is provides for extras. I can put a jet ski plus my Monkey in with the Talon and still have room!

Do you by any chance know your opening height? Not the interior height but the actual door opening?

The opening height is 80 1/2 inches. The last 18 inches are tilted for better clearance on entry.
I pull it with a 2017 1/2 ton Silverado with the 5.3 L engine.

Here’s my info from a custom order Spartan in 2018, 8x18, 6 inch extra tall and beaver tail entry for more door opening height. 5200lb axles, v nose. Beaver tail angled down last 2 ft of flooring and was only available on 18 ft. models. Pull with 1500 Ram.

You can order extra height on all enclosed trailers in 6” increments. I’d suggest 8.5’ wide much easier to get in and out of the machine.

72” is the opening. Pulling with a 2500 Dodge but have also pulled it with a 1/2 ton with out problems.
