Really adds stability? Are you running stock wheels?

What are the reasons for spacers? Not trying to be a smartass but want to learn.

I got 1 and 2 as well. I adjusted my shocks to a little firmer setting. It feels so much more stable. Only down side is that my mud busters aren't as effective which I figured.

Some do for looks and some do for stability. Some for both. Some do to get a shock reservoir away from a wheel/tire. Etc.
With IFS/IRS setups, when you lift you narrow your track width somewhat proportional to how high you go up. In other words it correlates. You go up, you narrow. Spacers here can be added simply to get back to your OEM track width after adding a lift. Also, with aftermarket wheels, most are the same front and back (7" wide with same offsets on all 4), so you will need to widen the rear a touch to make track with similar front to rear if that's your cup of tea as the factory setup has different offsets and widths front and back. Those are some examples.

  1. Do not currently own
I've got 1" all the way around on factory wheels. Undecided if I am going to just remove the front spacers, or replace the rear with 2". Would be doing it for stability mostly.

I have 1.5" on the rear now makes its very close to the same width as the front. With 5+2 wheels all around And I'm pushing on 65" the max for gates in Wisconsin.

Good info about spacers. I just got my buggy back and back width is smaller than the front. I have STI HD7 wheels 14x7 4/110 4+3 all around so I would need 1.5" spacers....correct?

For those with spacers how much more Mud are you throwing into the cab? I really want to add the spacers, but I'm not a big fan of the fender flares that are out there. Curious how much more mud I'm going to throw on my wife lol

I needed flares anyway, @joeymt33 had spacers and flares and had FAR less mud on machine and cab on same trails and mud that I did without spacers. The spacers give it a slightly wider coverage area.

I picked up a set of XL mudbusters they should be here Monday. I don’t like the form but the function is undeniable.

I agree with you on the look of the mudbusters but funny how they were a fathers day present last year when two weeks prior my wife was with me riding in some wet conditions...

I moved my 1"spacers to the front and added 2" spacers in the back prior to Takeover. The machine felt more stable in general and it seemed to feel more stable on off camber leans. Running 5+2 offset wheels as well. You still get mud on your machine with the wheel spacers but nothing near what you got without the mudbusters.

Yup running same spacers. Picked up a 1” set from Dragon21 and a 2” set from mudman put them on Friday morning I think. I put them on the front because my inner bead locks were rubbing the SATV arms and 2” on rear to make it even. I took some of the same trails on Friday as I did on Thursday and I was surprised by the difference, I legit didn’t think it would make a difference. Also makes it a tight fit on my 6’ wide trailer...
