P1000 Waterproof led dimmer switch/knob?

Who has a waterproof dimmer switch for a led light? Like for the switch backlights or a wired dome light?

@joeymt33 has a dimmer for his dome lights that I bought for some floor led lights in my truck. His is outside on the dash. Maybe he can give you a review on how it held up being exposed to moisture.

Is there a reason you’re going to a dimmer?

I’m going this route this time as I rarely use the dimmer feature. But the illuminated ring will be nice for finding the dome when I do need it

I’ve had this one since late ‘15 or early ‘16 and love it. It gets washed with the water hose like the rest of the dash. I know use that dimmer as the only switch for the interior lights as I replaced my “interior light” switch with a radiator fan over ride.

It can turn the light on/off and function as a dimmer.

I used those on my golf cart dash and like them, been good for several years now. The touch dimmer you linked is too finicky to work in a SxS. They won’t work if fingers are even slightly wet and the vibration will kill them quickly if the moisture doesn’t. Been there and done that, was cool while it worked though
