P1000 Warn Axon 55 mounting issues

Just found out that standard Honda factory winch mount kit will not work with Warn Axion 55. Requires Warn bumper mount 500-600 dollars. Using Honda mount requires cutting and mod fabrication. I opted for the warn bumper. Hopefully less labor costs than modding the Honda stuff. The Warn does present a nice clean look. Of course its backordered. Hopefully will receive in a couple weeks

just FYI i used the warn mount plate for my AXON 55 on a 2020 1000-5 deluxe.

there was a little trimming i had to do on the bottom corners of the bumper, but not really a big deal.

the bigger issue i had was that one of the factory bumper bolts was stripped (it was a brand new buggy).

Yeah my dealer would not do that bcause of the trimming aspect. Said it compromised the integrity of the bumper and so on. Total BS. I dont have tools garage time or ability to mess with it so I had few options. No excuse for bad hardware. Brings a project to a screeching halt. Thanks for heads up in any case
