So I was all set to install the rear shocks and then realized that it wasn’t going to be so smooth of an install. For one, the inserts that come with the shocks for the shock mounts only fit the threaded part of the Honda bolts through them. The non-threaded part is too thick (pic attached). The 2nd part is where to mount the external reservoirs. Think I found the best way to mount them. I used mounts from Amazon which I also needed longer screws to use an existing bracket. All the bolts/nuts I used are on the attached receipt from Home Depot. Hope this helps someone in the future...

In general, most things don't go as smoothly as planned, LOL. I do hope for you, the new shocks live up to the expectation and look forward to comments when compared to the stock profile...

I should of mentioned I already have them on the front and they made an amazing difference smoothing out the ride and no more bottoming out. That’s what convinced me to get the rears (oem Shocks bottomed out easily on the “whoops”). I also have my rear sway bar disconnected.

Anyone noticed any squeak coming from the WE? I can actually see rub marks on the rears where the spring is rubbing on the shock. I hit it with grease and it helped but thought it was kind of odd that they would ride that way. o_O

They have changed the bushings and they first the bolts now. I like the reservoir mount location you chose and I just so happened to have extra tube mounts like you used. Thanks for the post.
