Voltage meter

I want to add my voltage meter, and was wondering if it had to go straight the battery or if I could just use the wirea off of my fuse panel. Maybe somebody knows of another thread explaining this?

You could go either way. I would suggest using a key-on source (wire off your fuse panel). That will allow you to turn off the volt meter display when not in use.
