My baseball coach was a radio man for the first Calvary during the Tet Offensive. Hes a great guy and heads the Washtinaw co chapter of the Vietnam veterans of America And is on the honor Guard!

We had a couple family members serve there. My great uncle spent the rest of his adult life trying suppress the memories it seems. I don’t know what he saw, endured or anything else but I know that he was never the same according to the rest of my family. Reminds me of that quote: Only those who have died have seen the end of war.
