A big thanks for all of our Veteran Members including our First Responder Members. On our ride yesterday one of our group found someone'e phone on the trail. When we stopped for a break and photo opportunity another member who is active LEO took the locked phone and was able to get in touch with the owner's wife and make arrangements to return the phone. The whole process seemed very routine, but would have been damn near impossible less Tim Cook had been along. I have numerous friends who are either active or retired members of our LEO community. They have all displayed this sort of service throughout our friendship. Should you see someone in this community, take a moment to verbally thank them. BTW, if you're reading this, this was my reasoning for picking up the tab for dinner. Thank You

I would like to say that all the "thank you's" and kind words do not go unnoticed. Myself, and the few old buddies that I still keep in touch with, are pleasantly surprised and sincerely appreciative of how veterans and active duty military are treated now, compared to when we were serving.

Outstanding. Thanks to all our veterans and first responders!

Side note: If you don't already do this, you can add a message to your phone's lock screen. This way, if you ever lose it and an honest person finds it, you might just get it back. I can't speak for iPhones, but for my Samsung Android phone, if I long-press on a blank spot on the lock screen, it gives me the ability to add a message (+Contact Information) to the lock screen. I have a message on mine with my email address asking the finder to email me if my phone is found. You could always put a second phone number on there (home, work, spouse, etc.).

Want to thank those who gave some ,and some gave all.
Here's a picture of my dad when he was in the navy. He's still going and will be 98 on the 21st of November this year.
