I am going to sell my 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Camo deluxe and wanting help with pricing. Washed after each use and stored in my shop, never had problems other than a bubble in cooling system, so read up and found the bleed screw and repaired myself. My machine has trail riding only no deep water, no heavy mud and no coast sand riding ever. SXS has 4200 miles and is in good condition with average wear. No damage to plastic, windows etc. Has about 8K in added options including 5 - 14" tires and wheels 9:00X 28, rear Super ATV carrier, a arm guards, hard top, hard cab folding windshield, winch and custom mount, dash storage shelf and screen, new Fox shocks all 4 corners, back up lights, interior and bed light, horn, cup holders added to doors, door bushing upgrade, soft door tops, gun rack, snow plow mount. etc. NADA and KBB say 15,535 with no options. Not many for sale out there so not sure how to price. Can anyone here help me with pricing? will add pictures soon.

If I was buying it I'd be looking at around $10K. If I was selling it, knowing this market, I'd start listing it around $14500 and see what I can get. You can always go down from there.

Yes, it's that messed up out there.

Thanks for your thoughts, I was thinking 5k more on both ends and checked NADA again. More to my thinking.

Somebody will buy it no matter what price you put on it. There are a ton of morons with money out there. You are selling at the right time.

A car salesman once told me: Kelly Blue Book and NADA never bought a car, and he was/is right. When they buy a used car on trade in, they don't look at Kelly or NADA, then look at what the same vehicles are selling for at the auctions (most trade ins don't stay on the lot - they go to auction).

I know it's hard to find used machines for sale and even harder to find out what they sold for, but that is your best bet for pricing it both for what it's worth AND for what people are actually buying them at. The "book' values can be greatly inflated OR deflated.

Good luck with the sale!

I agree 100% I bought a new 2022 Ford F 250 pickup waited 12 weeks to get it and thought about selling so Contacted Vroom they offered me 8K more than I paid for it. I was shocked. I know Pioneers are very hard to get new this day and age. Thanks for your thoughts.

It's a whole lot easier to come down than it is to go up!

Start high and if that doesn't work you can always come down.
