P700m4 Upgrade shocks

Has anyone used the these shocks ELKA? Thinking about an upgrade but can't figure out difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2

Mostly valving I believe. I would go with the stage 3 shocks. Little more money but you get what you pay for.
