Update, I’ll just dump my weekend adventures on this thread instead of starting a new one every weekend.... lol. Love Idaho!

Hit the hills around the Sawtooths. Great riding. Found some old logging roads that haven’t been used in years. Great way to get to places where people aren’t lol.

Where did you end up going? We've been staying close to home, riding the desert. Wanting to get to the hills tomorrow, but they said they had a little snow up by Stanley.

Heard silver city had snow this weekend. I’ll be up Idaho way in about a week. Woopee!

We we’re closer to Idaho City than Stanley. We ran into a couple closed trails because of snow. 3’+ of snow still above 8-9000 feet. We’re suppose to be flirting with 90 degree weather this week. Good bye snow.
The BLM just opened the Sunrise road gate. Not sure where you live, but that’s a nice ride from the Boise foothills to small mining towns like Placerville, Centerville, and Pioneerville. We will finish hitting Sarsaparilla Ice cream in Idaho City. Then putt back over the mountains to Boise. Great ride!


We we’re at Silver City two weeks ago. Only snow in spots.. pretty much free and clear now. Definitely after this week. This coming Saturday we will be out by Silver City. Let me know if you want to come!

I'm going to definitely have to try riding one of your areas soon. I live in the desert between the 2 sections of Sawtooth National forest so just thought you might have entered closer to me. Silver City has been on my list for awhile but Thanks for the info on the other loop I will have to give it a try too. I'll keep an eye out for you on the trails. Have a good summer.

I have a cast iron gut, bring it on! That's what we do, cook something in one pan and eat. You ever tried chicken cooked in a Dutch oven camp side? Works great.

I’ll just update this thread.. We headed to Silver City today. Beautiful ride. Lots of history. If you haven’t been I highly suggest it. We also hit the Sinker Creek trail. This is one of my favorite trails around here!! Bobbing in and out of the river all the way up the canyon! And it’s deep and tight in spots! Not sure if I can upload a video of us turning the Honda into a fish. Lol. If not check them out on Instagram @_super.bee_
