P500 Under Hood Storage and Electrical Components

The top rail under the hood is a great place to mount electrical components, but it negates the ability to use the under hood storage tray.

Has anyone mounted these components inside the tray?

I will have to get a picture but i have a Blue Sea bus bar and winch solenoid mounted passenger side on bar closest to windshield and still have room for a homemade storage bin(rubbermaid wash pan) under hood. Keep compressor, tow strap and rope in it.
