The factory box with the cube coarse pre filter allows particles the pass thur I was thinking if I can find the correct size uni filter I could remove the factory box and install the uni directly the in intake where the box was, what do you guys think?I'm looking for a method to install a filter under the hood and not drill a hole in the hood or body.

I ordered some pre filter skins from Rocky Mountain UTV , received them and oiled one skin and clamped over the inlet port and oiled the second one and put over the stock snorkel filter. I think this will help out quite a lot. The skins are Part [HASHTAG]#1445290001Mfg[/HASHTAG]. [HASHTAG]#PC1344[/HASHTAG] after I put some miles on I will inform.I think relocating the filter closer to the dash is a terrible idea, I always have water splashing up under the hood and off the front side of the dash. The 2017-2019 intake is probably a safer bet than a DIY underhood idea
