Anyone have the Tusk Subzero Plow setup on a P1K5? Looking at the price and they're pretty cheap, wondering if they hold up.

Thanks,

Dave

I have a 72” installed on mine. First season, no issues so far. Do hit amazon and buy plow markers, hard to see where the blade is. Definitely worth a $25 investment.

I’ve beat the ship outta mine this weekend. I can’t complain a bit. Just gotta upgrade the winch strap.

I put one on this year works well no complaints yet. I would agree about using a strap for the winch and blade markers.

I have one on mine and have put probably 10 to 15 hours on it already on my half mile gravel driveway. No complaints at all. I bought the wings and they are fantastic. I highly recommend putting them on.

I got one of these coming (finally), based on the positive reviews. Nothing else out there that I could get for under $600 shipped to my door.

Anyhow, are any of you using a pulley for the winch cable? Any issues with installation? My last plow was a KFI and it was great so I'm hoping this will be a similar experience.

I got my tusk plow installed. I previously owned a KFI and would like to point out a couple things.

The KFI has a more robust push tube design. The tusk push tube is fabbed out of square tubing and welded at an angle. The KFI uses round tube and the tubing is not bent. The tusk setup has some steel welded to reinforce at the joint, but I can see it as a potential failure point. Also, I believe the KFI push tubes are longer, which is an advantage. The tusk plow rattles and moves around more when driving with it up off the ground.
