P500 Trouble shifting

When I try and manually shift it wont do anything, the instrument panel just blinks on whatever gear it is in. Any ideas what it can be?

Just the quick and easy troubleshooting first.
Does the battery crank the engine ok? These are sensitive to voltage drops.
Is the oil level full?
Try the shift tool and rock it in case it is stuck between gears.
Has the clutch been adjusted?
There have been posts about the shift motor by @HondaTech ; but does it shift in auto?
Try a search in the meantime.

Let it warm up for a minute. If you just crank and go it'll do that.
