Tractor Implement Size Inquiry

I am considering a tractor with a width of 74". Should I get 72" implements or 84" implements?

I will be using a box blade, brush hog, and tiller.

Tractor has 50hp at the PTO. My main concern is the desire to have something small enough to fit around my trees and yard but big enough for tasks. I worry the skinnier implements will not follow the tractor itself as well as wider ones.

EX: I cut a corner with the tiller and now it leaves tread tracks because the tiller was not wide enough.

Attachment typically have HP ratings, check that. In general I would go same width of tractor or bigger. Keep in mind a 72” blade won’t cover 72” when using at an angle. As far as a tiller I’d go width of tractor. You won’t want to turn much with tiller in ground, better to pickup, turn and then put back down.

Always purchase an implement that cuts out the tire tracks of the tractor. Size your implements regarding strength / weight of implement relating to HP. Hopefully this makes sense?

84" for the box blade and bush hog. In my experience the tiller size is gonna depend alot more on the HP of the tractor, especially in undisturbed ground.

84", you want it wider than your tractor.

An 84" Rotary Cutter is pretty big for a MX6000, especially considering the size of the tractor and it being a hydrostatic drive. Wider mowers are also longer and could be dicy on anything other than flat ground and short grass. The MX6000 he's looking at has a smaller PTO clutch. I would do a 72"

Yeah an 84" brush cutter would likely be too much for that tractor in the thickest of material. While not exactly apples to apples, I have a 72" brush cutter on my rebuilt farmall super m, which is rated at ~50hp at the pto. I can stall the tractor out when brush cutting ridiculously thick scrub brush. I have my rear wheels set in about as far as I can and is still wider than the mower by a few inches so I have to overlap on ones side when making multiple passes if I am worried about it. Usually dont because its usually just used for clearing back deer trails or shooting lanes. Again it isn't an apples to apples comparison to your much more modern diesel kubota, but it's the only reference I have...
