I have the Fox QS3 and just changed out my tires and would like to add a couple inches of preload. What tools are you all using to accomplish this? Any links or specific wrench sizes are appreciated!

Thank you! Any particular size of spanned wrench for the QS3?

Knowing Fox they sell one with their logo on it. 😂🤣

I’ve seen links to various ones members here have used. Someone will probably chime in with a link for you shortly.

It depends on the diameter of the shock, I used this on my 2-1/2" Talon shocks. I just Googled 2-1/2" Fox spanner and it popped up. Whatever you use, jack the buggy up as high as possible to unload the springs, it'll make it MUCH easier.

They came as a pair, I didn't use the lower one -

I use a pair of knit gloves with rubber coated palm. Jack it up, loosen the lock ring and turn them down by hand. Hella faster and less bloody knuckles.
