I'm in northern iowa. So a good mix of mud, snow and trail riding. And a lot of paved roads. I did a lot of research and watched videos. I ended up with the Maxxis Carnivores in a 28x10-14. And then upgraded to STI HD9 true Beadlocks. They are a radial tire that have a soft enough compound for snow and mud etc. They ride awesome.Just bought a new 2021 1000-5, what tire upgrades for Minnesota. Snow, dirt some mud? Came with Black stone?
I run 30” K9 Super Grips and they’ve been great so far.Just bought a new 2021 1000-5, what tire upgrades for Minnesota. Snow, dirt some mud? Came with Black stone?
That is correct.I'm guessing you have forward control arms? To be able to fit 30's with no rubbing?

Russ, did those tires kill your low end torque? i cant remeber if i read that you installed a IGR due to the power loss. i hadnt looked at that tire yet, they seem to be 5lbs a tire less than the Braven tires i have been thinking about purchasing. They also appear to be more open and better for the mud.
I lost a little bit but my rig did fine last month at Windrock. We did several trails, 16, 21 and 22 were the trails I used to grade the tires, they performed better on rocks than I thought they would. No IGR for me.Russ, did those tires kill your low end torque? i cant remeber if i read that you installed a IGR due to the power loss. i hadnt looked at that tire yet, they seem to be 5lbs a tire less than the Braven tires i have been thinking about purchasing.
