Title pretty much says it all. Mostly for tooling around and yard work. Not sure what to ask. I have a POS 2006 Yamaha rhino. It is tough but gutless and loud and hard to steer. But it still runs. LoL

I had the first of the 2004 Yamaha Rhinos. Was a nice, dependable machine.

Always had Hondas before back to an SL-70. All dependable, but Honda had no offering then.

Sold the always garaged, I never abused Rhino for. $4300.

Bought a 2020 Honda Pioneer 1000 I-5 LE.

Added a Warn 4.5 VRX, Warn wireless remote, dual battery kit and dual digital LED battery meter, WOLO Bad Boy air horn, 52: inch light bar to my bish guard, side and rear light bars, ceiling LED interior light, steel roof and glass windshield from Armor Tech and rear bumper from the same, need mat, folding bed extended, Super ATV Intimidator all terrain tires in 28x10 and new 14" MSA wheels with a little offset to prevent rubbing.

I can't tell you the comfort and power difference.

The Rhino NEVER let me down. This is just another dimension.

I go back the the Honda 300 days. Rock solid, dependable, reliable and that's what I wanted to get with this new machine.

From the transmission and no belt (I had the first 2001 Rubicon) , to the variable, power steering, LED lights, brakes, dash info and layout, comfort, power, big glovebox and under dash storage.

I'm very happy and glad I went back to Honda. The best bike and worst dealer is horrible. But, my dealer is great. So I'm very happy.

Good luck on whatever you do. Do what's best for YOU

I just bought mine last Saturday(1000-5 Deluxe Silver) and today I just did its first service (myself), 100 miles deep in 3 days of use. My wife and kids love it as do I. I don't regret it not for one second. Buy a windshield. Lots of guys here use the Superatv flip one, I just got mine mounted Wednesday, its decent.

Buy the 1000-5 Deluxe or the LE. They are amazing machines, very capable for working and great suspension and power for sport trail riding.

Quick info for drive modes so you don't have to ask because it isn't outlined very well in the manual.
Turf mode (one wheel drive, used for %60 of all driving conditions)
2WD mode (locked back axle great for trail ripping %38 of the time)
4WD mode (do you even mud bro? mode)( or something ridiculously steep)
4WD Diff Lock Mode (What did you do wrong that you have to use this)

Price shop. I’m sure there are some deals to be had in the next 60 days with everything going on. I’m in the same boat. I was ready to buy April 1st. I’m going to take my time.

Not a bad plan. Mine was $19,150 after tax, license, setup O.T.D. Honda for the P1000-5 Deluxe.

I bet there will be some good deals on used 1000s when everyone starts loosing there stuff because of this virus BS. I've been watching the used market for 2 years now and 90% of the time you're better off buying new.

Also true, my wife started out by looking online at like RZR's for around 12K but I just don't trust people to have done the proper maintenance or driven them decently. So I researched everything about the current available ones out there and landed on the Pioneer. IMO it is the best ride for the $. Unless you plan to jump stuff then maybe a Talon.
