The 1000-5 Deluxe base MSRP has gone up $1,200. I am sure glad I got mine last year. I noticed that there is now a $400 surcharge added to the regular destination charge. When I put a deposit on my 2021 last August, I don't recall that there was a surcharge. Maybe there was, I just don't remember.

At first blush it looks like the LE and SE (the two models with i4WD) are no more! The two models replacing them are the Trail and Forrest?

I hope I'm wrong on this, with a '21 SE I'd hate to see the i4WD get orphaned.

When I ordered mine last September, there was a $900 or so destination charge listed, but my dealer canceled it out of the "deal." So I am glad I did order it at that time.

Honda started adding that surcharge to dealers back in JAN (possibly before), as I didn't pay it in OCT but my buddy did in JAN. Exact same dealer.

The "official" release thread has more discussion on this, but I believe the deluxe/i4wd is a misprint.

This was added on units invoiced after January 6th.

Yeah, the website is a little misleading, though it's clear now the Trail replaces the LE and the Forrest Gump replaces the SE, at least in name.

That Honda hasn't dropped i4WD from their lineup is important (well at least to those who already own an i4WD), as it means than more aftermarket drive and suspension accessories will be in the offing as the i4WD population continues to increase.
