Telluride UTV question

I have never ridden West of the 550 near Silverton. This year we have an add'l trailer that makes shuttling buggies to a trailhead doable. I know you can't ride in the town of Telluride but can you ride near enough to walk into town from the trails off the 550?

No. Blackbear is what leads down to Telluride and it is one way down only. Unlicensed vehicles must turn around at the top of the switchbacks so I don't think you'd want to hike down and back up.
Imogene the same in that you can't legally go down the Telluride side much past the pass.
