Tear-Offs for windshield

This seems like it might be a good idea to protect the windshield. Have to trim it to fit from one of their stock sizes.

Could they be trimmed and still adhere? Or is there an adhesive strip around the perimeter? I’ve only used them on helmets, which use pins to secure the pack.

We are doing some R&D into tear-offs for our windshields. Not sure on it yet. Looking into costs and suppliers to see if its worth it right now.

A bit different but I tried some similar sheeting and it made the windshield blurry.
A spray bottle with a little soap and a squeeze also helps out on the trail. Have this 12v sprayer for a wash down (also to rinse out a muddy radiator). Just a thought. Let us know how the tear off works.
