Does anybody know the fully extended shock length for the Talon x shocks?. Have tried to search and coming up empty?
I hate telling guys to use the search feature but I'm pretty sure that question was asked recently and it got an answer IIRC. It might show up in a search if you're lucky and choose the right search terms.

On my 21 x4 non LV fox gave me the following

Front Shock 24.70 extended 8.3 travel
rear shock : 27.65 extended 8.25 travel

seems to me that these are 8.5" travel fox 2.0 front. I am working out how to gain more down travel so I had to get those measurements from them. My front cv is at 25 degrees at full droop so im thinking a 10" trvel fox would do well to give me a bit more down limited by a strap

You need softer main springs to lower the car to the middle of the shock travel if you want to gain anything. Lift kits, longer shocks and all that other fancy jazz isn't going to do what you think it will. Figure out what the main spring rates are F&R and then adjust accordingly.
