Sorry to bring this up again but I tried searching with no luck. Can anyone running stock talon wheels and tires on their p1K please post up some photos? I know they should fit without issue, and I already committed to buy since I found a great deal (all four for $80) I just wanted to see some examples. Thanks

🤨 First one that popped up!
I must not be good at searching. Thank you

Did that get you your answer?
Basically. I am rummaging through old threads over in the Talon section now to see what people do for replacement tires on stock rims. Seems like there are a lot more options for the 14" rim but I can still get tusk terrabites in a 28x10x15 all the way around which should fit without any issues. It sounds like I would want to add spacers if I put the same tire all the way around through.

Personally with all trouble of add ons and such, I would Just buy the same size tires and wheels all the way around. Just easier and 15's are plentiful just have to look

Thanks. The nice thing about the 15's is if I wanted to go to a light truck tire there are tons of options. My machine does get to see pavement fairly often (it is plated and road legal here) so that isn't a horrible idea. Yes, I know the weight thing could cause some performance issues but I am rarely over 45mph so I don't think I would miss it much.

I will pick up the talon wheels and see how much that 6+1 offset messes with things. I can always look for another set of fronts so that I can run the same 6.5" wide wheel all the way around which would allow me to rotate tires.

Talon wheels work just fine. Bought two brand new full sets, 1 for 275 and other for 250$ and bought a set of new tires for 75$. So ya way cheap then aftermarket. Other peoples junk seems to do just fine lol. Btw the Talon tires work very good on Pioneer, regardless of what a few say get 3/4” spacers for the front though, sets tire back where it was originally.

Thank you for the reply that is likely the direction I am going to go. How much air do you have in them and did you notice a difference in ride quality? Also what size are those? They look like a 235/85 but cant tell for sure
30x10x15’s
Ride quality was same off road, much better on pavement. I run 10-12 if I know im on pavement most of a ride. Other than that, 8psi

Thank you very much for the info. I am assuming you are running a arms then. I picked up the rims and tires from the Talon yesterday and they were as advertised. Fronts actually look pretty decent tread wise so I may throw them on to run them for a little while. When I replace the tires I will likely be going to a 235/75/R15 (28.9x9.3) mud terrain truck tire all the way around. I still have some time to decide on that though.

Yup, SATV arms, 1" spacers in front and 1.5's in the rear

I have only had a new set of Talon take offs for a couple of days so I really can't give a good review but I love the way it handles, rides and looks. I have not experienced any rubbing or any other problems so far, but it has only been two days. I got the wheels and tires for what I thought was a good price but I haven't heard anyone say anything about how good they wear. I feel like I made a good choice because they were about half the price of just a set of tires. We will see how they work out and give an update later.

Fwiw: I got about 1600 miles on the stock Talon tires before they were looking poorly. It’s a great handling tire in many conditions but not known for tough sidewalls. For reference, the Talon weighed about 1700 lbs at that time.
