Please provide some feedback on this product consideration.

This Packout Cooler Mount is basically 1/3 of a full packout mount, leaving 2/3 of your cargo area for other items. The mount bolts down into the bed allowing for quick, easy and secure snap in of a 10" wide Packout Cooler. Other 10" wide packout boxes would also fit this small rack.

This pic is of a very preliminary early draft. Some refinement is required. This would be aluminum and powder coated silver. Retail price would be somewhere around $85.

Has this been requested? Or just thinking of a new offering?
I see this as a quick cheap purchase to get myself addicted to the packout system. I would think after a few trips, I would invest in the larger plate.

Even the full plate doesn't appear to hinder too much space if I were to only use 1/3 of it. If anything, the full plate would offer better tie down positions for my other boxes that need to be secured.

This hasn't been requested. I've been refining my large packout mount with the fab shop and got to thinking about people that may want the convenience of a snap in packout cooler without the cost for a full cargo bed mount system. I find these little coolers very effective for day rides for my family of 4 and the snap in feature is just too handy.

My younger daughter calls this our little packout family!

My family LOVES this cooler that doesn’t have to be strapped down. Easy access for them without my help. Center box is an always ready to go first aid kit. Right side box is for tools and anything else. No straps required for anything is a plus.

I am not versed in the packout system and am trying to avoid it. I think i would probably end up going full size.

I have a couple of the Milwaukee plates mounted in the Pioneer. You will be sold after the T.O. next week.

@highpocket74 ever thought about moving into the Pioneer platform?

I know! I have ridden with you before. Maybe i am just being cheap.
I use endless ratchet straps to hold my stuff down. Easy enough access for me.

I may be tempted for a nice alum plate for the 1000-5 eventually

The pioneer ones mounted to the back of the rear seats works pretty sweet!!!
