Just messing around online and ran across this on Cabelas. It's the 4500lb winch with the cable for $199.99. Is this a deal? Also do these kits come with wiring harnesses and solenoid?

I just installed Superwinch Terra 35 wire cable ($172 sold by Amazon LLC), it had coupon on check out on Amazon. I added Insterstate AUX battery ($86 local Dealer) with True battery isolator ($70 Amazon). Plus 8g termination and 8g black/red cable ($30)

I have had great performance with Interstate SLA1156, Deep Cycle SLA (other suggest Odyssey PC925 with good reviews) with battery isolator True UTV-SBI-15 Smart Isolator for UTV (Amazon ~$70) Make sure to buy some heat shrink, 8g copper ring terminal, 8g ultra flexable cable. ($10 for 25') if you source Local Parts Store, you will get gouged. If you are a mud junky, solder all termination ends, even on crimp terminal ends and heat strink. Save you chasing a electrical issue down the road.

You keep pushing that battery like it’s the perfect solution, but it’s not designed for the abuse you find on a SxS it’s gonna fail. Off-road is rough on any battery, vibration is the #1 killer of batteries. It is economical for a reason and the reason is it’s not designed for vehicles.

It seems Amazon runs them on sale a couple times a year, IIRC I gave $235 for mine with a synthetic rope.
