P1000 Superatv portals for p1000

So superatv has released the 4" portals for the p1000, anyone going to get them?

It's a gear box that attaches at each hub, it lifts your sxs 4" and does a 30% gear reduction, it doesn't change the angle of your a arms or cv axle!

Yeah that's how I feel, I just like the idea of the gear reduction

Yeah I saw that too, for $800!

Looks like the same principle as the old VW Bus reduction gears. I remember the VW manual stated , that if the old bus (36 hp) wouldn't make it up a hill in 1st gear, to back up the hill. I thought that was so funny.

my firsts 4x4 was a 74 bronco with 36" buckshots... it had an awesome low 4low gear and an even lower 4low reverse gear... it was the small v8, but dang, when it was in 4low reverse it would climb a tree!

I had a tube bugy on unimog portal axles a few years ago. It is amazing what the extra clearance under the axles gives you the ability to crawl over

Just did some quick and dirty math off of memory and measurements on the p1000 on 30" tires. I think these portals would give you more ground clearance than a jeep or Toyota on 35s

Any idea what the overall width with 10" wide tires on the recommended 4+3 wheels? Just wondering if it would would still fit on my 6 foot wide trailer.
