P1000 sub trans vent line

Can anyone tell me if this line we found on the sub trans that runs down and points out the bottom of the skid plate needs to be vented?

That's the water pump seep line. Leave it be!

Yeah, I've left mine alone too. I ride in a lot of water and haven't had any issues with it.
