Stupid Tipout Windscreen Question

Received new P500 yesterday! Have on order the scratch resistant windscreen and hardtop. I reviewed the installation instructions, but what exactly do they mean by tipout? Does the hole windscreen remove? does it just tip forward? I haven't found any pictures of it in tipout.

If I understand the install instructions correctly, it will open from the bottom, tipping out just a few inches. Is that correct?

Yes. Unlike the 700 it is not a split. The whole thing tips out at the bottom.
This will allow for a breeze and equalize the negative pressure caused by the windshield thus reducing dust within the cab.
